The celebration of black history month began in 1976 when Black
History week was extended to Black History Month. This month is now celebrated nationally on
both a scholarly and commercial level.
B.M.M.O. Consulting wants to take the time to celebrate a few industries
and inform you of some of the trailblazers who set the stage for us to succeed
and become the amazing African Americans we are today! Keep watch out every Friday in February to
see what industry and history greats we highlight. We look forward to celebrating this month
