Gabby Douglas Rocks the Olympics!

Congrats to USA gymnast Gabby Douglas who wins the individual all-around gold medal.  She became the first African American woman to do this; history is being made in London, not just for the United States, but also for women everywhere!  If you want to be the best, you have to be determined and willing to sacrifice.  Per Huff Post Sports, two years ago Gabby left home to go train with coach Liang Chow, who also coached Shawn Johnson, back in 2008.  If you want to be the best, you have to surround yourself with the best!  We wish her the best, along with all the other winners.

Airbag Safety Causes Hyundai Recalls

Safety first is what has Hyundai recalling vehicles.  There are nearly 200,000 Santa Fe’s that are being recalled for models made in the years 2007 – 2009.  The problem with the airbag is that it is not detecting adults who are 130 pounds and under.  This was initially set up to protect children, but now Hyundai will go back and reprogram the airbags to respond accordingly.  This recall will also include 22,500 Sonata sedans from the 2012 - 2013 models.   If this recall affects you, contact Hyundai at (800) 633-5151.  We’re glad to see Hyundai taking the proper steps to insure safety for those all around.

Kourtney, Kim & Khloe Take on Plus-size Fashion

This Kardashian trio has done it all, from sex tapes, reality tv, fitness products, perfumes, nail polishes and fashion.  Now they have taken on a new fashion venture, plus-size fashion.  If anyone follows these women you know that Khloe is the shapeliest of them all and is a proponent of loving your body just the way it is, Kurves and all!  The three sisters have gotten together and expanded their Kardashian Kollection to now include Kardashian Kurves.  This line will also be carried at Sears.  We all know how the Kardashians like to always do things big, so in lieu of the new launch, they are having a model call for Kurvy Ladies.  Submit a picture of yourself via Facebook in jeans and tell why you love being Kurvy & Konfident.  Good luck ladies, show off your Kurves with Konfidence.
